Write this one off at your peril. Michael J Bassett, who helmed the underrated Solomon Kane , is in charge of the Silent Hill sequel, which is starring Sean Bean, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell.
Much of the publicity surrounding the film thus far has been the fact that it's being filmed in 3D, which is impressing a little over nobody. But there was the guts of a decent movie in the first Silent Hill, and Bassett should make a solid fist of the sequel.
It's out in 2012.
